An Arctic air blast is set to plunge New York into dangerously cold temperatures, bringing gusty winds and hazardous wind chills as low as 20 below zero.

Up to another foot of snow is predicted to fall in the Rochester region through Saturday morning as bitter cold temperatures settle in for much of New York state. Wind chills are expected to dip as cold as 25 below zero in some parts of the state, forecasters said.
