The South Carolina Gamecocks Women’s Basketball Team defeated the University of Kentucky 87 – 64 on Friday during the Women’s SEC Basketball Tournament in Greenville. The victory occurred on the third day of the five-day tournament.
South Carolina starting forward Chloe Kitts tore her ACL and will miss the entire 2025-26 season. Her father Jason confirmed via social media on Oct. 14 that she had a successful surgery and began the road to recovery. Kitts still travels with the team. She is returning next year, Staley confirmed on Feb. 25.
