CBS Sports begins its 69th consecutive year broadcasting the PGA Tour this weekend at the Farmers Insurance Open from Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, the first of 22 events on its schedule that includes the Masters, PGA Championship, six signature events and the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

The AFC Championship Game was the most-watched game of this year’s postseason on any network and averaged 48.618 million viewers, up +10% from last year’s comparable early game. Patriots-Broncos peaked at the game’s conclusion with nearly 58 million viewers (57.759).

The Carvana PPA Masters achieved a historic milestone for professional pickleball with its broadcast on CBS Sports, attracting an average of 791,000 viewers and peaking at 1.05 million, making it the most-watched pickleball telecast ever.

As Larry Ellison helps his son David in his quest to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, Paramount's CBS Sports has inked a two-year media rights extension with SailGP, a competitive sailing league which was co-founded by the elder Ellison in 2018.

Johnson Wagner, a three-time PGA Tour winner and popular analyst at Golf Channel, will begin his new job as an on-course reporter with CBS this weekend at the Farmers Insurance Open.
